Rooted in Montana. Raised with Heart. Shared with You.

For over a century, our family has called the short grass prairies of Montana home.

At T Bar J Ranch, we raise our cattle with the kind of care that only comes from deep roots and long days on the land.

From calving season to the day we deliver your beef, every step happens right here — under our watchful eyes and in wide open spaces.

We also work with a select few local ranching families to offer you ranch-raised, all-natural pork — raised the right way, by folks we know and trust.

This isn’t factory farming. It’s personal.

We believe in raising beef and pork the right way — no shortcuts, no hormones, no antibiotics — just healthy, delicious meat you can feel proud to serve your family.

Thank you for trusting us to bring a taste of Montana’s heart to your home.

"Sustainability Rooted in Tradition"

Our Approach to Ranching

At T Bar J Ranch, we believe healthy cattle start with healthy land.

We practice regenerative grazing — not because it's trendy, but because it's how our family has always cared for the land. Our cattle move across the wide-open grasslands just as nature intended, nourishing the soil and thriving on the native grasses.

We never implant growth hormones, and we never feed antibiotics to our cattle.

It’s simple: healthy grass → healthy cattle → healthy families.

That’s the way it’s always been here — and always will be.

Where Heritage and Hard Work Meet Your Table

Our Legacy and Commitment

Over 100 Years of Stewardship and Storytelling

In 1909, our family carved out a living here on the plains of Montana. Five generations later, we’re still here — raising cattle the right way, caring for the land, and producing beef we’re proud to put our name on.

Our ranch is honored as a Montana Centennial Ranch, recognized for over a century of stewardship in the same family, same grit, and a deep connection to this land.

Every calf we raise, every pasture we tend, and every share of beef we deliver reflects that legacy — and our commitment to feed families with honesty, quality, and care.

When you know your rancher, you trust your beef -- and that makes all the difference.

Our Bold Guarantee

We stand behind every steak, roast, and burger we sell.

If you're not 100% happy with your beef or pork, we'll refund your purchase—and you keep the meat.

That's real Montana fair.

1909 to Today: Our Montana Story

"Long before freezers and shipping boxes, it all started with a handshake, a dream, and this house."

In 1909, our family put down roots on the wide-open prairies of Montana.

By 1912, the house you see here was built—a sturdy shelter against the wind, snow, and sun, and a place to raise a family with deep ties to the land.

Five generations later, we’re still here, tending the same pastures and caring for the same soil, with the same spirit of grit and gratitude.

While a lot has changed around the world, the values that built this ranch haven’t.

We still believe in hard work, honest food, and taking care of the people who trust us to feed their families.

Every steer we raise, every beef share we ship, and every meal that starts around your table... is part of this Montana story.

Thanks for letting us share a piece of it with you.

Built in 1912: The heart of our ranch began here.

A Montana Legacy, Still Going Strong

"This house has sheltered a century of stories. And the best chapters are yet to come."

In 1912, our family's ranch house was built by hand, standing proudly on the same land we ranch today.

Over a century later, its walls still echo the values we live by: resilience, stewardship, and pride in what we raise.

Just like this home, our beef is a testament to generations of dedication — raised right, cared for every step of the way, and meant to be shared around your family table.

Time changes the seasons, but it hasn’t changed our purpose: caring for the land, raising good beef, and feeding families with pride.
