How Far Will 25 lbs Go?

For a smaller family, 25 pounds of beef will last about two months if you cook with it a few nights a week. That means tacos, roasts, and a couple of steaks to celebrate the good times.

It’s just enough to stock your freezer without feeling overwhelmed, and your $200 Beef Bucks will carry you right into a 1/4 or 1/2 share this fall.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “The best beef we’ve ever had, tender, flavorful, and worth every penny.”

    Greg F.

Not every review is 5-stars, we got a 3 star once, and we’re proud of that. We listen, learn, and improve with every steer we raise. That’s how over 50 families have come to trust our beef and why most come back year after year.

Did You Have Questions?

Where does your T Bar J Ranch honey come from?

We have bees on our ranch that our "bee guy" takes care of. The bees pollinate our alfalfa fields and we also have 2 pollinator plots planted. In the winter the bees go to California, in the spring they are in Washington state pollinating the fruit trees. They come here in late May and stay until the first frost, or the snow flies. Whichever comes first. We get a share of the honey, and we in turn share it with our customers, so they can share in the goodness.

Is your beef grass-fed? Grain-finished? What does all-natural mean?

Our cattle are raised on pasture their entire lives and finished on a 14% protein pellet that’s specially formulated to help them grow strong and develop rich marbling.

This forage-based pellet is certified Non-Hormone Treated Feed, and it’s designed to deliver the exceptional flavor and tenderness our beef is known for.

We do not feed grain like corn or barley, and we don’t use silage or feedlot rations.

Our beef is 100% all-natural — no antibiotics, no growth hormones, and no implants. Every animal is raised right here on our ranch, from birth to delivery, and handled with care every single day.

Are your cattle certified All-Natural?

Yes they are.NHTCmeans:Non Hormone Treated Cattle. That also enables our cattle to be shipped to other countries such as Europe. Cattle implanted do not meet those requirements. Some calves are implanted up to 3 times in their lives. Once as a calf at branding, when they are weaned off their mother, and then again when they go to a finishing feedlot.

What does BQA Certified mean?

BQA is short for Beef Quality Assurance. Because we have a long-standing commitment of caring for our animals and serving families with the safest, highest-quality beef possible, we have gone through this training to meet the standards set by the U.S. Beef Industry. For over 30 years we have been learning the best techniques to manage cattle, to take care of them and our environment. Being BQA Certified is an important designation for T Bar J Ranch.,

What Breed of Cattle do you Raise?

We Cross-breed Black Angus with Gelbvieh. Angus is a breed noted for tenderness and marbling. Gelbvieh is a breed that came from Germany. It is a versatile breed noted for muscle, longevity and it's maternal traits. We have great- grandmothers still producing wonderful calves. They are docile and calm and raise a chunk of a calf. We also benefit from "hybrid vigor" by crossbreeding, which means extra growth by the animals themselves without hormones.

How does shipping work with your Frozen Beef and Pork?

We have FREE shipping for our frozen meat to your home. It is shipped in insulated boxes with dry-ice. We ship in Montana and the lower 48 states. We deliver in person in our local area and on trips to South Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado.

Do you have a Guarantee?

YES!! We guarantee you will be totally satisfied. We guarantee our beef 100%. I call and check up on how you are doing, if you have questions, and that you are happy. We will refund your money if you are not happy, and you keep the beef. We have NEVER had to refund anyone. So there is no risk on your part.

When are your Beef Shares available?

We harvest our beef in 2 seasons. June/July and then in the fall, September/November. When our animals are ready. We start taking deposits November 1 for the Summer beef shares.

Fall beef shares we start taking deposits May 1.
