Clean Pork, Trail Sticks, and 90 Years of Beef

After celebrating all our small wins last week, this week it’s time for some BIG celebrations. Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and celebrate with us.

 

Pig Parade Wrap-Up 

We wrapped up our annual Pig Parade at the county fair, and I wanted to say thank you.

 

Because of your support, every single pork share is spoken for. That means more clean, flavorful pork headed to more family tables, and more local 4-H kids supported in the process.

 

If you’re one of the lucky ones with a deposit down, I’ll be calling soon to finalize details so you can get that bacon in your freezer.

 

 Tomato season is nearly here, and nothing beats a BLT with homegrown tomatoes and our cottage bacon.

 

We’ll start taking deposits again next spring, so stay tuned into the Ranch Roundup for updates.

 

A Big Week for Family Around Here

We celebrated my dad’s 90th birthday with a ranch BBQ. He's not just one of our oldest customers, he's proof that a life full of clean beef and fresh air does a body good.

 

90 years strong, and still eating our beef every day.

 

Black Jack is Growing

It’s grandkid season around here, and I got to help one of our granddaughters feed Black Jack.

 

Five generations and counting at T Bar J.

 

Breeding Season is On

We sorted off our replacement heifers, and they’re now in a pasture with a “heifer bull”,  a bull that sires smaller calves, just right for first-time mamas.

 

The big bulls are now turned out with the cows, and we’re happy to report they made the mile-and-a-half walk without any “pasture drama.”

 

That means calving is officially on the calendar for May 4, 2026.

Al’s favorite flavor has arrived, and orders are already going out.
