This Ended Up on the World Stage
Last Friday we were in a full-on Montana storm.
By Sunday — it was Easter.
Blue skies.
Quiet.
The kind of day that reminds you why you stick with it.
Hope yours was better than you expected too.

Speaking of sticking with it…
Kieran, our T Bar J Ranch Hammer Thrower, is in Ramona, Oklahoma this weekend for the Ramona World Invitational.
Olympians.
World Champions.
The best in the world.
And he sent us a video—
Pouring beef sticks straight into his throwing bag.
We’re hoping he packed enough.
Because that’s what he’s running on:

- 👉 Ranch-raised beef
- 👉 No shortcuts

Back Here at Home…
Things have been calm this week.
No one got out.
No troublemakers.
Everyone where they belong.
(That doesn’t always happen)
Then yesterday, we moved the heifers...
We brought all the heifers home.
Sorting out the replacements from the first-calf heifers.
The young girls — including Scar-let — went back out. (That took two tries… one came right back home.)
The mothers-to-be stay close to home.
Close enough so if they need help…
We’re right there.
The big cow herd will follow in a couple weeks.
They’re getting tired now.
And wide.
(May 1 calving is coming whether they like it or not.)
❤️ BIGGER THAN BEEF
This weekend, we’ll also be in Helena for the Big Hearts Under the Big Sky annual banquet and auction.
We’ve got a 1/4 beef — in a freezer — in the raffle.
And honestly…
This one means something.
They support:
- • Disabled veterans
- • First responders
- • Kids fighting cancer
People who’ve given everything. Families who didn’t choose the road they’re on.
Their stories stick with you.
And the 1/4 beef in that raffle…
Comes with something extra.
