We Mostly Eat Steak and Hamburger
Do you know what almost half a ton of beef boxes look like?
I should have taken a picture yesterday, but I was too busy packing, taping, and moving boxes.
Yesterday, nearly 900 pounds of beef and pork left the T Bar J.
Eighteen boxes, a whole lot of ice, and one UPS driver who didn't make it to our place until 8:15 last night.
Next Monday I will take a picture, because we're doing it all over again.
And while we were getting all of that meat headed toward family freezers, I got a comment from a new reader.
She said a 45-pound beef share was more than they needed.
Then she told me something else: “We mostly eat steak and hamburger.”
Well, that makes things pretty easy. 😊
Because you don't have to buy a beef share to buy beef directly from our ranch.
Steak + hamburger. That's supper.
We have families who order a 15-pound Montana Steak Box and a 15-pound Ground Beef Bundle together.
Some families want the whole variety—steaks, roasts, ground beef, and slow-cooking cuts.
And some families know exactly what disappears from their freezer first: steaks and hamburger.
If your family loves roasts, steaks, and ground beef, our 25-pound Taste the Difference box or a beef share may be a better fit.
But if what disappears from your freezer first is steak and hamburger, you don't need me to talk you into something else.
Get the beef you're going to enjoy eating.

15-lb Montana Steak Box
A freezer full of steak nights waiting to happen.

15-lb Ground Beef Bundle
Hamburgers, tacos, spaghetti, meatloaf—and a whole lot of “What's for supper?” solved.
🍔 FILL MY FREEZER WITH GROUND BEEF
Want both? That's what some of our customers do.
We have one couple who bought a quarter from us and still have some of their roasts and other cuts left. When the steaks and hamburger start disappearing, they order a Steak Box and Ground Beef Bundle to fill the gaps in their freezer.
Sometimes you don't need more of everything.
You just need more of what your family eats most.
Whether that's steaks, ground beef, a little of both—or a freezer full of all the different cuts—we're happy to help you find what fits.
Our next boxes leave the ranch Monday.
See you Friday,

P.S. What's the first thing to disappear from your freezer—steaks, hamburger, roasts, or something else? Email us and tell us. I'm curious. Ice cream doesn't count!
